Today you are going to learn how to express yourself when talking about holidays. Let’s take a look at some common mistakes people make when they write about holidays.

However, we have Festa Junina here, which is a holiday that happens in June and July (and sometimes even in August), and it is particularly my favourite. It began in the northeast of Brazil, but it becam popular in the whole country. It is a party where people go to eat typical food such as peanut, Brazilian banana sweet, corn cake, hot dogs and - my favourite - hominies. Moreover, people go to dance with costumes around a big firepit, and X normally has a competition for those in which the best choreography wins.

Understand the reason behind each correction with our explanations:

5ª For those - An unnecessary addition that doesn’t fit the sentence. To use this construction, one option would be to rewrite the sentence as “...for those who like to create choreographies, in which the best choreography wins”
