Natural Networking: Portuguese Immersion for Professionals

Join us for the Natural Language Institute’s first edition of Portuguese Mini-immersions! This edition takes us to the popular Mangai restaurant where we will enjoy traditional northeastern food at a beautiful lakeside location.

We will be joined by Brazilian professionals who are friends of the Natural Language Institute, along with Portuguese teachers, making it a great chance to build connections. 

Our Portuguese events are designed to enable safe spaces for Portuguese practice, as well as providing cultural experiences and an opportunity to bridge the gap between Brasília’s expat community and Brazilian professionals.

Practical Information:

• There is no cost to attend the event itself, the restaurant provides individual “comanda” payments based on your individual consumption. 
• Dress code: casual 
• Please sign up so we have an accurate number for the reservation. If you are bringing a friend or family member, please ask them to sign up separately.  
• The only requirement is to commit to trying to speak only Portuguese, as this is one of the purposes of the event. 
• You may give the name “Natural” (pronounced nah-too-RAHL) on arrival at the restaurant to be directed to the table.
• You will receive a summary and optional homework practice following the event.
