The Wrist Watch

Written by Teresa C | Student - 02/jun/2019 #Language and Education

We cats are the happiest creatures
That roam the planet Earth

You don't find a cat that shouts
To complain of cold coffee
A cat that browses the internet
I can't remember having met
They don't wear wristwatches, they take their time

But it is a shame
You don´t do the same
You humans always have a deadline
Your life´s a race against the clock
And from the crack of dawn
To your very last yawn
You run, you rush, you race
We cannot understand
And - sigh! - I guess we never will.
